Test av Hestra sine «krepse» hansker – Hestra Wool Terry Split Mitt.

Jeg sliter veldig med kalde fingre når temperaturen er lavere enn 3-4 pluss. Selv de tykkeste hansker hjelper lite (og ja, jeg har syklet om vinteren med mine tykkeste slalomhansker). Med disse split vottene fra Hestra er veldig mye gjort.

Jakten etter varme hansker har vært lang og tidkrevende, men nå kan jeg kanskje roe ned litt i gode og varme Hestra hansker (eller split votter). Votter hadde naturligvis vært å foretrekke, men det er nesten umulig (og farlig) å sykle med votter, spesielt på sykkel med bukkestyre.

Inn kommer Hestra Wool Terry Split Mitt hanskene. Dette er split votter med et ytre skall av Gore-Tex Infinium Windstopper på håndbaken, og en kunstlær håndflate. Hele hansken er vindtett.
Den tykke, og godt isolerende innervotten av Terry kan tas ut og erstattes av tynnere ullhansker hvis temperaturen forlanger det. Eller du kan rett og slett bare sykle med skallet uten noe inni. Mulighetene er mange og temperatur regulering er ganske enkelt.

Jeg har brukt disse hanskene ned i minus 8 uten problemer. Innervotten av Terry er veldig varm og denne bruker jeg kun på de kaldeste sykkelturene. Jeg løper også en del, og dette ble kjapt en favoritthanske på grunn av det store bruksområdet.

Nei, de er ikke optimale når jeg bruker gravel sykkelen min. Det er en stor fordel å bruke hansker når man har et bukkestyre, eller for deg som stort sett bruker en finger på terrengsykkelbremsene, men det har vært problemfritt å sykle med disse. Litt tilvenning må til, men det går stort sett veldig greit.

Gore-Tex Infinium er ikke vanntett som normal Gore-Tex, men de tåler en god del regn før de blir våte. Men de er selvfølgelig helt vindtette.

Størrelsen vil jeg si er normal.

Prisen på Hestra sin nettbutikk er 750,- noe jeg ikke har noe problemer med.

Et knall godt kjøp etter min mening. Er du som meg og fryser på fingrene på sykkeltur, løpetur eller langrennstur, så kan disse være løsningen.
